I believe I have reached a point where I am in denial that in just a few short weeks we will have a 1 year old. Where has the time gone? Every day with Andrew continues to be exciting as he continually shows us his ever growing personality. I definitely think that although he looks a lot like his Daddy, he behaves much like his Mom! He is a bull in a china shop to say the least and he is, shall we say, "determined" about doing things his way! Hmm, sounds a lot like someone we know.
He is full of cute "tricks" these days. He can clap, wave goodbye, and blow kisses. He can tell you how old he is, and he can raise his hands in the air when we say "Amen!" So cute!!
We are VERY close to having a full fledged walker in the house. He can take a few steps by himself before he falls, but I think we are only a few short weeks away from him taking off. Lord help us! We have already started to baby proof the cabinets, but I think a few baby gates are in our future as well.

| Eating a grilled cheese! The stats are as follows... Not sure about the weight, but I am pretty sure he is close to 25-26 lbs. He is a BIG boy! We pretty much wear 18 to 24 month clothes, size 4 shoes, and size 5 diapers!! We have successfully transitioned from the bottle to sippy cup during his daytime meals, however we are still giving him his nighttime bottle. Mom is not ready to tackle that battle yet! His favorite book is Goodnight Moon which we have to read every night before bed. He loves having his teeth brushed and opens his mouth before we can even get the brush in his mouth. He loves people watching and is such a rubber neck when we go out to eat! He loves grilled cheese, mac n cheese, beans, cheese quesadillas, rice, watermelon, graham crackers, and bananas! We have yet to come across anything he does not like. I am sure this will change, but we are enjoying his love of all food for the time being.  We continue to enjoy getting to know this little guy and can't wait to see him grow up. Again, denial that my next post will be a 1 year old entry!!!  |
